Intramural Sports Liability Waiver

In return for being permitted to participate in Asbury Theological Seminary’s Intramural Sports Program for Fall 2020, I assume any and all risks associated with my participation in the Intramural Sports Program and usage of the facilities of the Sherman Thomas Student Center.  These risks include, but are not limited to, personal injury or loss of property.  I release, hold harmless, and will not hold Asbury Theological Seminary and its elected employees and officials against all claims, damages, costs or expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs.  I certify that I do not have a medical condition that would prohibit me from safely participating in Asbury Theological Seminary’s Intramural Sports Program.

Code of Conduct

As a participant in Asbury Theological Seminary’s Intramural Sports Program, I understand and agree to play by the written and official rules.  I understand that I must abide by the enforcement of these rules by referees or other game officials and that only team captains can approach a referee to dispute a call.  I understand that shirts and non-marking athletic shoes must be worn at all times.  I agree to maintain a sportsmanlike attitude, on and off the court, and understand that non-compliance with these rules may result in my ejection off the court.  After one warning of unsportsmanlike conduct, I understand that a referee or my team captain maintains the right to release me as a player and that my right to play in the Intramural Sports Program may be revoked.
